62.5/125μm (OM1) and 50/125μm (OM2) multimode fiber optic cables are ideal for connecting routers, switches, 100/1000BASE-SX transceivers etc. They are suitable for fast Ethernet, gigabit Ethernet and fiber channel applications.
50/125μm (OM2) multimode bend insensitive fiber optic cable is with less attenuation when bent or twisted compared with traditional optical fiber cables and this will make the installation and maintenance of the fiber optic cables more efficient. It does saves space for the high density cabling in data centers, telecom rooms, server farms, and cloud storage networks.
